With my friend Solune, we wanted to create content for little artists that we love. That's how we decided to create Nomade Studio, a culture media to promote the local artists we enjoy.

We filmed the first episode of Nomade Session – a series that puts forward underground music artists with an authentic performance – at La Rhodiacéta, an industrial wasteland in Besançon.

Promoting local artists, with genuine performances

We think that discovering the artists from the root of their art is the best way to introduce yourself to a new artistic world. We had the idea to make music artists sing in uncommon places, such as abandoned areas or lost in the nature.

A live performance in a historical place

The first episode took place at La Rhodiacéta, an industrial wasteland in Besançon. We invited three hip hop artists based in the region, and by a cold day reaching 3°C at 3 p.m, they rapped in front of a deindustrialized area steeped in urban culture.

In a single shot, we captured a 14 minutes live show that is now available on our Youtube channel.

Giving Nomade a discrete but recognizable look

I created a simple but modern typographical logo for the identity of our production studio. We kept it simple because we think what matters is our visual productions and the artists' performances.

The result...

With more than 800 views on our Youtube channel, and over 90k views on Instagram, the first episode of Nomade Session has been a huge success.

A huge thank to everyone that make this project possible. @solune_w, @solesse_esc, @iros_mmm, @3lunn_musik
